DARE TO DREAM VCJ Foundation Mentoring Program of Ardmore, Oklahoma looks forward to helping empower youth in our community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their potential. Our mentoring program uses adult volunteers to commit to supporting, guiding, and being a friend to a young person for a period of at least one year or other time specified. By becoming part of the social network of adults and community members who care about the youth, the mentor/life coach can help youth develop and reach positive academic, career, and personal goals. The purpose of VCJ Foundation Inc is to provide intervention and prevention services through the mentoring relationship to 200 "High Risk" youth in grades K-12 who are at risk of educational failure, truancy and juvenile delinquency. The strategies within the 5-year plan are designed to encourage youth to make their dreams a reality.
